Doors will open at 6:45pm. Students should arrange transportation home no later than 10pm. Ticket quantities are limited and will be sold on a first come basis. Ticket sales will end when tickets are sold out. Students who purchase a ticket will be on a list and will not receive an actual ticket. Your student ID is your ticket! Any duplicate tickets purchased under the same ID number will be voided with no refund. All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you purchase a ticket and decide not to attend, your ticket may not be given to another student. Wed, 17 Aug 2011 22:42:19 GMT http://almlap.wths121.tandemcal.com/index.php?type=news&action=home&id=11 news-11-wths121@intand.com Registration for 2011-2012 is just around the corner!  The last day to register online and pay fees at a discount is August 31st.  Please take a moment and watch this brief video message from our Principals'. http://www.ihigh.com/warren/video_896699.html  Tue, 26 Jul 2011 00:11:19 GMT http://almlap.wths121.tandemcal.com/index.php?type=news&action=home&id=6 news-6-wths121@intand.com Warren's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America had a very successful trip Orlando, Florida, this past week!  Thirty-one members attended the two-day Institute for Leaders Conference on June 27 – 28, and 32 members competed at the National Leadership Conference from June 28 – July 1.  Ten members were recognized on stage for placing in the top ten in seven different events, for a total of 12 individual awards.  Our chapter received two first place awards, which is quite a feat!  In addition, monetary awards were won by some of the winners.  This is the best performance by the Warren chapter at this national conference.  Eight thousand members and advisers were present at the conference, making it the largest one in the history of the conference.  The following awards were won by individual members of our chapter:   Kyle Alden—Local Chapter Annual Report, First Place and $250; (Class of 2011) Will Hennessy—Local Chapter Annual Report, First Place and $250 (Class of 2012) Stephanie Zblewski—Local Chapter Annual Report, First Place and $250 (Class of 2011) Jolie Huang-- Web Design, First Place and $375 (Class of 2012) Joey Zegar—Web Design, First Place and $375 (Class of 2012) Monica Detter--Desktop Publishing, Third Place and $150 (Class of 2011) Jen Gardner—Desktop Publishing, Third Place and $150 (Class of 2011) Alex Paisley, Introduction to Business Communications, Fifth Place (Class of 2013) April Young, Accounting I, Seventh Place (Class of 2012) Kyle Alden—Business Financial Plan, Tenth Place and $50 (Class of 2011) Panjri Shukla—Business Financial Plan, Tenth Place and $50 (Class of 2011) Kyle Alden, Who’s Who in Illinois, (Class of 2011) Jennifer Aronsohn, Business Achievement America Award Recognition (Class of 2012)   Chapter Awards received by the Warren chapter were: Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit Outstanding Chapter Award Largest FBLA Local Chapter—First Place—North Central Region (Warren’s chapter was the second largest in the nation this year with 527 members) Largest FBLA Chapter--Professional Division, First Place--North Central Region   Other members in attendance at the conference were:  Corey Alden, Beatrice Alleyne, Jenny Aronsohn, Sarah Balwierczak, Katherine Boncher, Christie Clark, Katie Clark, Saraid Claxton, James Dadabo, Lauren Furmanski, Maddie Gastfield, Tom Hennessy, Christopher Hoeflinger, Carolyn Kalinowski, Effie Katsoolias, Erin McDougal, Andrew Nickell, Todd Sherman, Adam Szostak, Caroline Szostak, Kimberly Tsarpalas, and Kevin Vollrath.  FBLA Advisers Chris Mason, Matt Vogel, and Kelly Wilkerson also attended the conference.
